New Babbage Commons Shortcut in Star Citizen

Here's how you can save yourself a lot of time when you go to New Babbage on microTech, especially during the XenoThread event the terminals are really slow to react and sometimes they don't work at all, or you don't get a place to land your ship, then you also have to deal with the elevators and the trains or shuttles and all these things you normally have to do add up to the time that you're wasting.

As long as you don't have to get fuel or in need of repairs you can land your ship right at the door at the Commons of New Babbage, there's also a few landing pads that I'm not sure of yet if you're able to refuel or do repairs when you land on a pad, what I do know for sure is that you don't need to ask for permission to land and even better is that you can land right at the doorstep of the Commons without permission which will save you a ton of time.

Now you don't have to mess with comms and getting permission to land in the first place or land in a designated hangar, you don't have to deal with the terminals, you don't have to go on the trains, none of that is necessary and I figured out if you're doing cargo that your ship can be loaded or unloaded when you land directly at the Commons, the answer is you can so by doing this you will save yourself a ton of time.

The Star Citizen April Free Fly Event

This is your chance to try Star Citizen for Free!

Here I am in Star Citizen in my hangar in front of my ship with my pledge store bought gear, this is the Red Alert gear which makes me kinda nostalgic because I've played that game a lot, the gear also looks good and I love the weapons from this special edition gear.

Enough about me, you might be interested in starting to play this game yourself. Well, this is the perfect time for you to get a taste of the Start Citizen game for free, yes you've read that right as of today at the time of writing this blog post you can play Star Citizen during the Free Fly Event which will end on the 20th of April 2023.

Just use my link to sign up and create your account so you'll get 5000 credits in game as a bonus.

Click here to sign up and get the 5000 credits bonus!

Even if you are playing Start Citizen already this event is really cool for you too because now you get to fly ships that you normally can't so there's something for everyone.

I've been very busy inside the verse and created a list with all the components that I need to get my ship upgraded and I only have to be at two locations to get all the component and weapon upgrades that I need for my ship which is the Drake Cutlass Black and to my opinion this is the only ship you need to be able to do pretty much everything there is to do in the verse.

I also looked for the best profitable but low risk routes for hauling cargo which is helpful when you start and haven't built anything up of reputation so the missions that you get will be only low paying stuff, you don't need any of that for the cargo routes that I created myself outside of any mission and this is helpful if you haven't got enough credits to buy all the upgrades that you need for your ship.

I'll post the details about the ship upgrades and my custom cargo routes in a new blog post next time, you can also expect a few tips to make your life in the verse easier and especially if you have the Drake Cutlass Black or any other variant of this ship, there's an issue with the pilot seat when you want to enter it will incapacitate you and you'll die from the injury which is a bug but if you want to know the workaround for this specific issue I'll share that with you in the next blog post.

Comment below if you need the workaround and let me know that it's urgent so I'll share my little secret with you as soon as possible.

See you inside Star Citizen Persistent Universe.

Become a Star Citizen and get 5000 free Credits

Star Citizen

I found this PC Game only recently and I've been waiting for months saving for a new computer that I built just to be able to play this game and now that I can play it I'm over the moon.

This game is just amazing and I don't know any other game that comes close to this one in how the open world is created, the vast distances, the graphical details, the cities that you can choose to start from are overwhelming at first glance, watch the Star Citizen trailer below and see for yourself.

*Note: Star Citizen Alpha 3.18 is currently available to download and play. Additional features and updates will be released as they are developed.

The absolute minimum PC Requirements:

  • Windows 8 (64-bit), Windows 10 - Anniversary Update (64-bit)
  • DirectX 11 Graphics Card with 3GB RAM (4GB strongly recommended)
  • Quad Core CPU with AVX instructions (Intel’s Sandy Bridge processor and AMD’s Bulldozer processor or newer)
  • 16GB+ RAM
  • SSD strongly recommended
If you like open world games this game is definitely for you, just keep in mind that the game is still in alpha and it's being tested at the time of writing this blog post so expect that it's not perfect and it can be very buggy at some times, especially after the last update which was about a week or two ago man that was brutal and made the game unplayable for almost a week for me personally.

Now at the time that I'm writing this it's way better and things are slowly starting to work again, I managed to finish a mission today so I can tell from my personal experience that things start to improve a lot and much of the game is already playable right now.

I can't get enough of this game, it's absolutely beautiful and I think it's mind blowing even with all the bugs those aren't going to change my mind any time soon about this game, I just love it.

Check out the screenshots I made from my new and favorite ship that I got recently below.

Introduction

Introduction

Well, I'm keeping this short because I know from talking to other people that most of you don't want to read a too long story

If you don't know me and this is the first time that you visit this blog, thanks for being here in the first place, my name is Ricardo Penders and I'm the owner of _SoHarD_dB_w@®Ez_

Ricardo Penders
See, I'm just a normal guy with a bold head, haha.

This picture was taken in Tenerife in my Hotel room... I was on a holiday, working as a truck driver at the time and making long hours every day for a year so this was a welcome break.

I've had this blog online for a long time and used it for different things that I'm not very active in anymore today so I decided to change it once again and give it a new purpose writing about the things that I love to do and what I've been busy with for the last decade or so.

After doing internet marketing for about 3 years I had enough of that because it's all about manipulating people in buying stuff they don't need and I hate that, I just wanted to know how it all works and what kind of techniques are being used so I'm able to protect myself against it.

However, I still have my traffic generating websites online and those will be there for as long as I live since I'm the co-owner and I signed for a lifetime license.

You can find a couple of my traffic generating websites and other tools for internet marketing on the sides of this blog post and at the bottom of this website and those are the only few I can stand behind because they actually work.

If you want to know more about internet marketing, blogging, SEO optimizing, WordPress, email autoresponders and all the things you need to have to start your own internet marketing business I can help you with that, just use the blue bubble at the bottom of this page to schedule an appointment with me.

How to make an Interface for the Raspberry Pi 3 - DIY

This Raspberry Pi 3 Interface will fit nicely on a Breadboard

So, I made myself a prototype board that fits easily on a breadboard to have some protection for the GPIO ports of my Raspberry Pi 3 and I knew I had two ULN2003A's that I recently salvaged of some old PCBs and after looking at the datasheet I discovered that these were perfect for making an interface to protect my Raspberry Pi 3.

With the ULN2003A in between the GPIO ports and whatever I want to drive, even inductive loads which are notorious for their kickback that will instantly fry your Raspberry Pi...

Well, now I don't have to worry about that anymore, I don't even have to put a resistor on the GPIO outputs because the chip has it already built-in (2.7kOhm series resistor on each input), that's great for me.

And you might have seen that I didn't use the prototype board the regular way but I turned it over so that I have the copper pads on the topside instead because this makes it easy for me to quickly solder on whatever new thing I want to drive from my Raspberry Pi 3.

I'm running this interface directly from the 5 volt output pin of my Raspberry Pi 3 just because it makes it more convenient for me with future prototyping projects, since I'm a big fan of recycling and giving old hardware a second life I know already that I'm gonna be using this interface until it doesn't work anymore.

With this interface it's even possible to switch higher voltages and even the 240 volts AC when I put a relais, MOSFET or IGBT in between the output and the line voltage... So with this interface the possibilities are endless and that's a good thing to know, right?

What are your thoughts on this, I'm really interested to know so please let me know what you think in the comments below.

I'm open to suggestions.
